Brenna McCaffrey (she/her) is an activist-scholar who studies the interaction of reproductive politics, social movements, and medicine. Her work has been published in Feminist Anthropology, and Medical Anthropology Quarterly. She has also contributed to Sapiens and the Thought Project podcast. On her TikTok account, she shares information about anthropology and abortion access with over 20k followers. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at the State University of New York, Geneseo. She is an active member of numerous reproductive justice and abortion access organizations, including the New York Abortion Access Fund, the Online Abortion Resource Squad, and the Miscarriage & Abortion Hotline.
